SBG Systems Ekinox-A: Precise Motion & Attitude AHRS/MRU Solution

SBG Systems Ekinox-A: Precise Motion & Attitude AHRS/MRU Solution

0.02° Roll/Pitch & 0.03 Magnetic Heading

Ekinox-A belongs to Ekinox series of high performance, MEMS-based Inertial Systems which achieve exceptional orientation and navigation performance in a compact form factor. As a Motion Reference Unit (MRU) or Attitude and Heading Reference System (AHRS), Ekinox-A, provides accurate roll and pitch in dynamic conditions as well as heave, surge and sway outputs. Connect it to an external GNSS receiver to benefit from absolute heading measurement and improved roll and pitch performance.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Ekinox-A?

Ekinox-A belongs to Ekinox series of high performance, MEMS-based Inertial Systems which achieve exceptional orientation and navigation performance in a compact form factor. As a Motion Reference Unit (MRU) or Attitude and Heading Reference System (AHRS), Ekinox-A, provides accurate roll and pitch in dynamic conditions as well as heave, surge and sway outputs.

What is the difference between an AHRS and an IMU?

An IMU outputs raw angular rate and acceleration, while an AHRS such as the Ekinox-A runs onboard sensor fusion to output ready-to-use roll, pitch and heading — no external estimation algorithm required.

Where is the Ekinox-A available?
