SBG Systems Ekinox-E: Inertial Navigation with External GNSS

SBG Systems Ekinox-E: Inertial Navigation with External GNSS

0.02° Roll/Pitch

Ekinox-E belongs to Ekinox series line of very high performance, MEMS-based Inertial Systems which achieve exceptional orientation and navigation performance in a compact and affordable package. It is an Inertial Navigation Systems (INS), that provides both orientation and navigation data even during GNSS outages. To improve orientation accuracy, connect your Ekinox-E to an external aiding equipment such as GNSS receivers, 1xDVL or odometer. SBG Systems developed dedicated “split” cables to simplify the integration with external equipment.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Ekinox-E?

Ekinox-E belongs to Ekinox series line of very high performance, MEMS-based Inertial Systems which achieve exceptional orientation and navigation performance in a compact and affordable package. It is an Inertial Navigation Systems (INS), that provides both orientation and navigation data even during GNSS outages.

Why use a GNSS-aided INS like the Ekinox-E instead of GNSS alone?

A GNSS-aided INS fuses inertial measurements with satellite positioning, so the Ekinox-E keeps delivering accurate position, roll, pitch and heading during GNSS outages — in tunnels, urban canyons or under jamming — where a standalone GNSS receiver would fail.

Where is the Ekinox-E available?
