ATX High-Resolution Long-Range Lidar

Hesai ATX: Smaller Size Greater Performance

Hesai's ATX is a 116-channel hybrid solid-state lidar built for mass-produced autonomous vehicles and ADAS programmes. A 1-D rotating mirror replaces the spinning assembly of a mechanical sensor, which is how it fits into a 30 mm-tall housing that can be integrated into a roofline rather than bolted on top of one.

It resolves objects to 200 m at 10% reflectivity across a 120° horizontal field of view, and returns up to 1.74 million points per second over 100BASE-T1 automotive Ethernet with gPTP synchronisation - at 10 W, and within an IP6K7 / IP6K9K sealed enclosure rated from −40 °C to 85 °C.

Automotive-grade construction
IP6K7 and IP6K9K ingress protection, an operating range of −40 °C to 85 °C, −40 °C to 105 °C in storage, and 100BASE-T1 automotive Ethernet with gPTP clock synchronisation.
High-density point cloud
Up to 1 740 000 points per second across 116 channels, at 0.08° horizontal resolution and 0.1° vertical resolution inside the 120° × 8.8° region of interest.
Intelligent Point Cloud Engine
Noise, blooming and interstitial points are flagged in the output stream, so they can be filtered before the point cloud reaches the perception stack.
