Research Vehicles

Research vehicles for autonomous driving, instrumented with a full sensing, positioning and compute set. We supply the components and help specify the set for the research question.

What varies is the research, not the wiring

A research group usually wants a vehicle that drives early, so the time goes into the research rather than into building the stack. Starting from a known, validated component set makes integration predictable, and makes the vehicle a known quantity when results have to be defended.

A reference set: ARGUS

The ARGUS Autonomy Kit is a defined set of LiDAR, cameras, GNSS-inertial positioning, GPU compute and a vehicle control unit, chosen to work together. It is a starting point; the final set depends on the vehicle and the research.
