Tactical-Grade Closed-Loop Accelerometer with 2.5 µg Bias Instability

DatasheetSupport

Silicon Sensing Zenith® is a closed-loop, single-axis MEMS accelerometer built for precision-critical measurement. It pairs a ±14 g dynamic range with a noise power spectral density of 10 µg/√Hz across 0 to 100 Hz, 2.5 µg rms bias instability and velocity random walk of 0.003 m/s/√hr, and reports linear acceleration and temperature over a digital SPI® interface. The sensor occupies a hermetically sealed ceramic LCC surface-mount package of 10.4 × 6.0 × 2.2 mm weighing 0.4 g, and holds full stated performance from -40°C to +105°C. Zenith is offered in-plane as the CAS150 and orthogonally as the CAS170, so a pair on one PCBA gives multi-axis measurement without additional board area.
